Monster Cookies

This is my grandmother old favorite Cookie recipe that I have changed for health and allergies reasons. It is gluten free and dairy free in needed.

5 cups oats (gluten free from health store)- but not regular is fine if your not cooking gluten free. 
½ cup real butter  (or 2 tbls. olive oil)

12 ounces chunky peanut butter (if you get organic you will need extra oats!)

½ cup Turbine organic sugar (or 2 Tbls. Honey- but then add ½ cup additional oats)

3 eggs

2 tsp. backing soda

½ cup berries or 1 sm. banana

1 ½ Tbls. blackstrap organic Molasses

6 ounces carro chips (or regular chocolate chips if you want)

½ tsp. cinnamon

½ cup walnuts (optional)

1/3 cup raisins (optional)




Put in fridge for at least an hour (up to 2 days) 

They should be thick.( I always try 2 cookies first to see if they come out flat and if I need to add more oats)

serving size spoon full lumps on frosted cookie sheet (I prefer parchment paper) at least an inch appart

Bake at 350 for 10-15 min.
